VISION STATEMENT |
|
To provide a support structure for workers in the south western metropolitan region and to work collaboratively in the provision of appropriate services that respond to the diverse needs of all young people in the local area. |

GOALS |
- Meet regularly for sharing of information, resources and ideas; mutual support and to work on the development of collaborative projects.
- Advocate for the development of programs and services that will meet relevant youth needs in the local area
- Identify and provide appropriate professional development opportunities for local workers
- Promote community education and understanding of youth issues
- Work cooperatively to attract resources to the south western meteropolitan region
- Consult with and involve young people in the planning and development of SWYN projects
- Represent the interests of SWYN at a local, state and federal level |

SWYN Meeting times |
All SWYN meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month from 11am-1pm. Meetings are hosted by member organisations and locations decided periodically.
